Literally 2 days into my new retail job and rapidly remembering why I left this field the first time. On paper it's fine, but holy shit I hate working with customers. Even the nice ones leave me an exhausted, anxious mess. I'm also wondering how terrible it is to leave so soon after getting a job when the other employees and management are genuinely lovely people..
A different job could genuinely pay pennies I don't care, I just need something to have on my resume. Limited experience besides other retail, working with animals & volunteering with a nature center.
