How many applications did it take you to get an interview?
I just got laid off, and in the past 6 days I’ve submitted roughly 80 resumes/applications for positions I’m qualified for. So far, I’ve only had one company express interest in moving forward with an initial phone interview.
I’m curious what everyone else’s experience has been. How many jobs did you apply to before getting your first interview? Or are you also applying like crazy and not getting much interest yet?
Just trying to get a sense of what’s normal in the current job market.
