Im just so frustrated, I graduated from university in December of 2022 and still have not gotten close to starting my career as a technical director or playback operator. I applied to flosports for a live stream technician level 1 both full time and part time positions and still got rejected. It wasn't the job it's self its the fact that it's another opportunity missed yet again. I am currently with IATSE as a stagehand to make ends meet and do like the work, but due to living in Texas, its hard for any union to get contracts due to union busters. As a result im underemployed always living paycheck to paycheck meanwhile I see my peers from the same school actually get a full-time position with a company like the one I applied for. I am partially venting making this post but idk what do yall think.
