25, late start, career switch... but finally got my first job

I don't usually post, but today feels different.

I graduated in Civil Engineering in 2024, but my journey wasn't smooth at all. Because of COVID and financial issues, I couldn't take admission on time after 12th. I had to switch to diploma, which already put me 1 year behind my friends.

Even during engineering, things weren't easy. And after graduating, I realized I didn't want to continue in civil. So I made a decision to switch into IT.

That decision cost me almost 2 more years.

While my friends were already working, earning, and moving ahead in life... I was still learning basics, doubting myself, and struggling to find a job.

There were days I felt like I started too late.

Like I wasted time.

Like I was behind everyone.

Today I'm 25.

And tomorrow... I'm joining as an Automation Engineer.

It's not a big company, not a crazy salary - but for me, it means everything.

Still, sometimes I feel like I'm late.

Like I should've figured things out earlier.
