My partner has 20+ years of retail experience and nothing to show for it. He did make 26 an hour at a previous retail job, but lost that job. We have applied to 100s of jobs and nobody is hiring. The only place that got back to us was Walmart for 18 an hour. They don’t care about your experience. They pay the minimum no matter what. I just want to cry. Seems we are just screwed money wise. Someone giving that much time to retail all for it to be nothing hurts so much
